Return & Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping with Bookish Denim. Every pair of our jeans is made to order just for you, so please read this policy before you buy.
Production & Delivery Times
- Production: about 30 days after your order is placed.
- Shipping: 6–12 days after your order leaves production.
- Total: expect your order about 36–42 days after purchase.
We’ll email you a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
Cancellations
Because production starts quickly, you can cancel within 24 hours of placing your order for a full refund. After 24 hours your order is in production and can’t be cancelled.
No Change-of-Mind Returns
Each item is made to order, so we don’t accept returns or give refunds if you change your mind, order the wrong style, or no longer want the item.
When We Accept Returns & Refunds
We accept returns or give refunds only in these cases:
1. Damaged, defective, or wrong item
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or isn’t what you ordered:
- Email us within 14 days of delivery at bookishdenimco@outlook.com.
- Include your order number and clear photos of the item and the damage.
- Once we’ve reviewed it, we’ll send a free replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer. You won’t need to pay any return shipping.
2. Doesn’t fit
If your jeans don’t fit:
- Email us within 14 days of delivery at bookishdenimco@outlook.com with your order number and the size you ordered.
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached.
- We’ll send you return instructions. Return shipping is paid by the customer.
- Once we receive and inspect the return, we’ll offer an exchange for a different size or a refund of the item price. Original shipping costs aren’t refundable.
Please check our size chart before you order. It’s the best way to get the right fit the first time.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank may take a few extra days to post it.
Lost Packages
If your tracking hasn’t updated in 10+ days or shows delivered but you didn’t receive it, email us and we’ll help resolve it with the carrier.
